Position: Classroom Teacher
Job Summary: Responsible for providing high quality of education for children and a safe and developmentally appropriate environment in accordance with all company's policies and procedures
Main Duties:
- To implement the curriculum and relevant activities to meet the needs of the children.
- To prepare the lesson plan and make sure to respect the classroom schedule.
- To always enhance creativity and come up with new ideas for activities, decoration, etc.
- To help children develop their autonomy, and use positive reinforcement techniques.
- To use play and hands-on activities to teach basic skills.
- To prepare the formal assessment of the child (twice a year) in accordance with the Education Coordinator.
- To discuss children’s progress with the Education Coordinator and Branch Manager.
- To ensure children are well prepared for preschool interviews and requirements.
- To assure a smooth adaptation of newly enrolled children.
Requirements:
- A degree in Education.
- Knowledge and know-how of ECE.
- Fluency in English or French.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a main classroom teacher.
- A Previous experience with children aged between 1 year old to 3 years old.
