A local NGO located in Badaro has an opening for a Communication Manager.
The Communication Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the organization communication plan and branding in line with SBT identity and progress.
Tasks of Responsibilities:
- Create and implement the identity, design, format, print production and timescales based on SBT Communication-Branding strategy, guidelines and policies;
- Coordinate with the partners’ communication departments, according to the visibility and communication action plans and SBT Communication-Branding strategy, guidelines and policies;
- Work with other members of the team to evaluate needs, develop project strategies, and create visual elements for events and campaigns;
- Develop concepts, graphics and layouts, photos, info graphs, videos and digital animations for activities and projects illustrations, logos and with the respect of the SBT Communication-Branding strategy and policies;
- Create templates and design of different SBT content and materials of the projects and administration requirements;
- Handle SBT press releases, articles, newsletters or presentations, communications and PR with media, newspapers, magazines and advertising agencies (in collaboration with the grants manager, proposal writer and projects managers);
- Promote SBT on social media: Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube;
- Monitors SBT’s website on daily basis with the collaboration of the IT Administrator;
- Follow up correspondences on the SBT social media platform and website and communicate with stakeholders according to SBT Communication-Branding strategy, guidelines and policies; and
- Communicate and work closely with media, TV and sponsors, to ensure SBT exposure upon requirements
Required Qualifications, Knowledge and; Experience:
- Ungraduated or Bachelor degree in Cultural Affairs, Art Production, Visual and Performing Arts, TV Production, Cinema Production or any related field in implementing education, cultural and art projects;
- Minimum 1-2 years of previous relevant job experience;
- Mastery in Photoshop, Illustrator and; InDesign;
- Mastery of video and audio editing software and programs with music and transitions; and
- Graphic design skills: Adobe CS, Microsoft Office, Print Design, Typography, CSS, Web Design, PowerPoint, Photography and Branding.
Skills and Competences:
- Engaged in the NGOs field;
- Fluent in Arabic and English, both written and verbal;
- Strong people management skills;
- Ability to communicate effectively with local stakeholders and team member;
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and cope with competing demands under tight deadlines; and
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with people from different backgrounds.
Administrative Information:
- Working hours from 9 AM to 4 PM (until mid of September 2023) / then from 9 A.M. to 5 PM ;
- Working Days from Monday to Friday ;
- Location: Badarao , Museum Area, Karim Salameh Building 2nd floor;
- Method of work: Physical with field visits; and
- Salary Range: $400- $600
