Please note that we currently are recruiting for a reputable company in Beirut the following positions:

 

  1. Imports Manager:

A tiers 1 building material trade retail group is hiring an Imports Manager to be based in their offices in Beirut.

The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years experience in the same field with at least 3 years managing a department. He/she should ensure the implementation of company import operations and to maintain excellent relations with all suppliers as well as have a proven track record of hands on experience working with clearance officers and shipping companies.

Some of the main tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Constant search for new and competitive factories

  • Communicate with the clearance officer at the harbor in order to follow up the clearance of goods

  • Communicate with shipping companies in order to ship goods at the best prices to Beirut Port

  • Coordinate with the accounting department in order to settle up the price of the goods as agreed upon letters of credit with suppliers

  1. HR Manager:

 

A tiers 1 building material trade retail group is hiring an HR Manager to be based in their Beirut offices. The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of experience with a minimum of 4 years in managing a department. He/she should ensure the alignment of the HR department with the group strategy and continuously provide development plans across the company.

Some of the main tasks will include but not limited to:

  • Lead and develop the HR team

  • Oversee and direct a professional and comprehensive human resources service to all group departments.

  • Lead the management of People Development, Personnel Affairs, Payroll & NSSF matters

  • Participate with Senior Management in developing the strategic direction of the company

  • Ensure that the company is able to attract, develop, motivate and retain staff of required caliber
