The Nawaya Network launched a new program to support unemployed youth from the neighbourhoods affected by the explosion. The program (in partnership with UNICEF) consists of a paid three-month apprenticeship opportunity as well as employability and soft skills trainings. In collaboration with Jobs for Lebanon platform, these youth will also be trained on strengthening their online job applications with the goal to get hired via remote jobs on the platform.

Nawaya is accepting applications for youth with the following criteria:

- 18 - 25 years old

- Unemployed

- University students or graduates

- From the neighbourhoods directly affected by the blast (living there or previously working there and lost their jobs)

- Financially vulnerable

- Proficient in English
