Kawalis NGO
needs to recruit a trainer over one year in order to build the capacity of
graduates from “Digital Skills” training, previously conducted, to access
freelance jobs. The trainer is expected to deliver training sessions on
freelancing topics, and to conduct coaching sessions for all trainees to boost
their chances of becoming successful freelancers.
The training sessions will cover a variety of topics.
The “freelance academy” consists of three training categories, which are 1)
freelance, 2) technical and 3) soft skills. The Freelance workshops will be the
core of the training while the technical and soft skills will be complementary.
The coach in every area is entitled to deliver two batches (minimum of 15
participants per batch), of workshop topics as following: at least 10 freelance
workshop topics, All sessions should be highly practical and participative with
a hands-on approach.
Below you will find a sample of the three training categories. Coaches are free
to amend/add/modify any of the suggested topics below.
Freelance topics: each training workshop is 3 hours (may include but are not
limited to):
1) Start a Freelance Business (3 hours)
2) How to effectively use online freelance applications (Up work, Freelancers,
BOT)? (3 hours)
3) 3) How to e-market your freelance service? (3 hours)
4) Make your profile shine (3 hours)
5) How to write winning proposals? (3 hours)
6) How to quantify the financial value of selling your service (3 hours)
7) Bidding and terms negotiations (3 hours)
8) Get your first client (3 hours)
9) Managing your freelance projects effectively (3 hours)
10) How to build positive connections (3 hours)
