A- Position: Database Administrator

Major: Computer science,  Business Computer, MIS etc…

Degree: Bachelor or Masters

Years of experience: 2+

Location: Jdeideh

Working hours: Full time job from 8.00 am till 5.00 pm

Main responsibilities :

·         Work with application development staff to develop database architectures, coding standards, and quality assurance policies and procedures

·         Ensure Bank of Beirut production, test, and development database environments are up and running 24/7 and fully segregated.

·         Ensure daily, weekly, monthly and yearly operation supervision of production process including databases’ environments in order to perform uninterruptible production cycle

·         Develop and manage an infrastructure database capacity plan and monitoring tool for the IT Operations’ Production Control Unit

·         Develop and execute test plans to check infrastructure and systems technical performance. Report on findings and make recommendations for improvement

·         Ensure the right monitoring is applied to all databases in production

·         Develop a backup strategy…

Skills:

·         Must have solid understanding and experience of Oracle, SQL, Portal framework and related development tools

·         Must be organized, analytical, and able to take a lead and assume responsibility in all deliverables.

·         Must be able to identify areas for improvement and to provide feasible solutions.

 

 

B-Position: Software Engineer

Major: Degree in the field of Business Computing, computer science or management information systems.

Degree: Bachelor or Masters

Years of experience: 0-4  

Location: Jdeideh

Working hours: Full time job from 8.00 am till 5.00 pm

Main responsibilities :

·         Install and Manage Vendor Software Solutions.

·         Develop Software Solutions in response to Business need.

·         Optimize and Maintain existing applications.

·         Liaise with Business and Vendor to fix reported application’s issues.

·         Ensure applications’ proper upgrade.

Skills:

·         Good Knowledge in web and applications programming

·         Good overall knowledge of Software Development

·         Preliminary understanding of an entire application lifecycle

·         Ability to work under pressure in constantly changing environment.

 

 

C-Position: Data Integration Developer

Major: Degree in the field of Business Computing, computer science or management information systems.

Degree: Bachelor or Masters

Years of experience: No Experience is required. 

Location: Jdeideh

Working hours: Full time job from 8.00 am till 5.00 pm

Main responsibilities :

·         Develop Interfaces between different applications using current tools and software;

·         Build interfaces to exchange data among operational applications at any speed

  • Work closely with Data Integration Architects and Technical Lead on processes that involve data integration;
  • Optimize data integration platform to provide optimal performance under increasing demand and data volumes
  • Follow the quality standards defined for Data Integration.

 

Skills :

·         Database Development  Skills (SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL or similar);

·         Web Services Skills (SOAP, REST);

·         Development Skills (.NET, Java or similar);

 

 

D-Position: IS Operations Officer 

Major: Degree in the field of Business Computing, computer science or management information systems.

Degree: Bachelor or Masters

Years of experience: 2-4

Location: Beirut

Working hours: Full time job from 8.00 am till 5.00 pm

Main responsibilities :

  • Perform system hardening as per bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Administer the system security patches as per the patch management policy.
  • Administer and operate of all security related systems and tools (antivirus, anti-spam, content Intrusion preventions systems, WAF, RSA security appliances etc…)
  • Must be familiar with security tools and practices in terms of vulnerability scanning and health checking. 
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies especially those relating to system security.
  • Perform internal vulnerability scanning and assessments in coordination with the IT Department.

 

Skills :

·         Understanding of IT security fundamentals & systems (multiple OS, Firewalls, IPS, etc…)

·         Familiarity with industry leading security products

·         Communication skills to convey the necessary information in an accurate manner

·         Ability to identify false positives and security deficiencies
