    • Dear AOU Students,
      Greetings,

As part of AOU's continuous development program, we are launching a pilot study to assess students’ soft skills capabilities. An international assessment tool that supports this goal is the GRIT Gauge test.

We are pleased to invite you to participate in this pilot study. By registering, you will have the opportunity to take the GRIT test for free. This test measures your perseverance and passion for achieving long-term goals — your ability to stay committed, work hard, and recover from setbacks.

      Why is GRIT important?
Grit is a critical soft skill for academic, professional, and personal success. Research shows that it is often a better predictor of achievement than talent or intelligence. Individuals with high levels of grit are more likely to achieve their goals, overcome challenges, and demonstrate resilience, persistence, focus, and commitment.

      How will this benefit you?
Taking the GRIT test will provide you with valuable insights into your strengths and areas for improvement. Your results will also help us design a targeted program aimed at enhancing AOU students' grit and related soft skills such as resilience, perseverance, and goal-setting. This program will offer practical strategies to strengthen these skills, contributing to your overall success.

We strongly encourage you to take advantage of this valuable opportunity. The GRIT test is conducted online and will take approximately 30 minutes. Upon completion, you will receive a detailed analysis of your capabilities. Please note that participation is voluntary, and your results will remain confidential.

Please register for the GRIT test here: https://forms.office.com/r/Z6Kn5Mz1w5?origin=lprLink

The registration deadline is 1st of May 2025.

Seats are limited. If you are selected to participate in the pilot study, you will receive an email with more details about the test, including the date and time.
